General Motors Allocate 1.5 Bil of Advertising Budget on Web
Although there are many companies out there that portion some of their advertising budget on the web, few big companies and big brands allocate as much as 50%. But we're seeing a shift here from General Motors as they're allocating 50% of their budget to online advertising/marketing over the next 3 years. That's a huge 1.5 billion dollars, a big leap that may put them at the forefront of big brand online advertising. Everyone would look at their example and if they pull it of, many more brands should follow the trend. Even Toyota has strated some 'loose change' 4 million dollar project on youtube. Creating a youtube channel.
More online videos, movies, tv shows, music, communities, blogs, portals and what not are dominating the time share of our lives. If more big companies were to shift more of their advertising budget to focus on the web, we're looking at a new era of online advertising and revenues for affiliates.
