Seasonal Campaign Creatives For Affiliates

Starting a seasonal campaign to boost affiliate's referral activities?

Few things to consider:

  1. Think about starting a new offer just for the season. Make the end date of that offer/coupon/discount a few day after the season/holiday/celebration. Many competitors will be offering special deals and offers, so you might want to stay competitive. Having a special offer will make your new creatives more effective. Don't stick to generic banners.
  2. Customized Creatives - Provide affiliates with customized creatives to tap into a customer's desire to purchase stuff for the particular holiday. Holidays are like clear indicators of what a visitor/reader may want to purchase during this time. Since the opportunity is right before your eyes, make sure you use it and not let it go to waste. Images, text must reflect the season and tie in with your product/site/service and offers. In fact these creatives can even be reused every year if somehow you're low on budget or time. In fact you might want to just target a few holiday (maybe 2-4) per year, just to get the hang of seasonal campaigns and add more the following years.
  3. Make sure that your site is also ready. Referred visitors shouldn't have to click on a banner highlighting an offer that is not reflected in your site/store.

Customized offer, customized banners, customized site makes a killer combo for your season's sales through affiliate marketing.

Agreed. Everything has to be planned so that affiliates can get as many sales as possible. Plus, it doesn't hurt to have some extra materials to promote YOUR own products.
