AffiliateBOT leading the way in Affiliate Marketing 2.0

Posted on 03 April 2008 in Affiliate Marketing by Ezer Ratchaga, Affiliate

The new look of AffiliateBOT marks a new era in affiliate marketing.

We've been working on this revamp for quite awhile now and it is finally completed. Now, I'd like to run you through some of the exciting changes we've made.

Design

Note the brighter home page and clean lines. We realized that a lot of affiliates out there come from all walks of life, and most of them aren't professionals running in suits.

So we went for a more welcoming design and loosened up on the corporate style we used previously. There is also a quick access panel to our latest forum and blog topics.

We've also switched to a more prominent logo featuring a blue robot. It signifies the semi-autonomous nature of our industry and the wealth it brings. The fonts are in lower caps now, again, going for a more casual approach.

Affiliate Marketing 2.0

Now many of you may be pondering the meaning of Affiliate Marketing 2.0.

Well, it's simple. We've all seen the power of user generated content in today's Web 2.0, why not implement those features into our marketing efforts?

Of course, you have LinkedIn, blogs, Facebook and the like, but they're not directly integrated into your affiliate marketing efforts. That said, we want to empower you with these tools to have your voice heard and make affiliate marketing easier and fun for you.

The first of these tools is the blog. We believe in collective intelligence, and so we welcome anyone to share ideas here. If you're an industry veteran, a bizdev god, maybe an SEO expert, this is a great place to share your wisdom and promote your services. As a further incentive, we're allowing contributors to include their own Adsense code or get a share of ours.

We're also in the midst of improving our community system, which will allow affiliates to better communicate with each other. More importantly, merchants can have their own community group to promote their latest offers, and have a direct channel to provide feedback to their affiliates.

All affiliates will now have their very own public profile on AffiliateBOT (http:// members.affiliatebot.com/your-name/), which is completely customizable in the control panel.

Take advantage

Let these new features work for you in 3 easy steps:

  1. Log on to AffiliateBOT.
  2. Configure your public profile (Accounts > Public Profile).
  3. Start blogging and make extra money

And that's not all

In fact, we're just getting started. There are many more tools in development, and we look forward to launching them soon.

In the mean time, I hope you enjoy our new features, and I wish you all the best in your affiliate marketing efforts with us.

Congrats on your new site! I thought we're already in Affiliate Marketing 2.0? Since, you know, we're all part of web 2.0? But anyway, the profile page is great and the site is a breeze now to navigate.
