I realized I had to do something about my credit when I attempted to get a loan for a house and was denied. Do you know that it is very important to have good credit these days? If you don't then you pretty much can't get a lot of things unless you pay cash for it.  Well I sort of figured out a way to improve your credit score and even get stuff deleted off of your credit. For one and this really does work because I have gotten a lot of things deleted from my credit, it may take a couple months but it works.

 

Ok, for one you can go to annualcreditreport.com and get a copy of all three of your credit reports and just look over them to see where you're at as far as the score is concerned and what you think you need to get deleted.

 

Then I would suggest that you go and dispute everything on your reports once a month. You will eventually get letters back from the credit card company's letting you know if anything has been deleted or if they verified that it’s your account. The collection agency's have thirty days to get back with the credit report companies to verify your account if they fail to do that then that specific account will be deleted.

 

After you have done that for about 6 months and the very thing that you wanted deleted is still up there you can call that collection company directly and tell them that it is not yours and they will delete it for you if you're lucky. I got lucky a few times from doing that.

 

Or you can call the collection agency and make payment arrangements its best to do it for hospital bills that are really high because you can make arrangements to pay what ever amount you want each month. Every time you make a payment on time they will report it to the credit bureaus and your credit score will go up from there. Try some of those things i'm sure it will work for you.
