This is something NEW in affiliate industry - a conference for affiliates - FREE
If you are an affiliate, this is YOUR event. The industry is very young and it does not help to be charging exorbitant cost for affiliates to join such conference. Affiliates are the one bringing in revenue to the companies that attend/exhibit on these conferences and they should be paying such venues where can they can meet with you. I believe it is fundamental that an affiliate should not pay to attend such event.
If you are an affiliate and have opportunity to go Denver this June, I strongly suggest you make it a red letter day on your calendar. Affiliate Convention provides the greatest opportunity to learn from your peers, find better commission deals, as well as explore new products to offer.
The new affiliate conference will be taking place in Denver, Colorado from June 17th to the 20th. Although its totally free to affiliates, people that work for interent companies have to pay to get in. Basically, you would be sponsored by the affiliate programs exhibiting pn the convention because the merchants and networks desire to do more business with you. You should meet with them and personally thank them for providing you with a complimentary pass to the Affiliate Convention. They will most likely discuss ways of improving your performance with them. Most importantly, after the event, you should contact the affiliate manager and send them some traffic, as that is the reason why you were sponsored. Giving them more business will most likely ensure that you are invited again as their guest to the next Affiliate Convention.
