Any affiliate that's been running a forum using PHPBB should take note. There was recently a coordinated effort compromise such websites and about half a million websites with such forum has been compromised.

The damage includes:-

Visitors who visit the sites are redirected through different servers which will end up with a server that pings the PC for vulnerabilities in in Microsoft Internet Explorer and RealNetworks Player. If there are vulnerabilities, the malware is downloaded into the PC.

Trojans involved:-

TROJ_DNSCHANG.CS, TROJ_ALUREON.AE, TROJ_ALUREON.AH, TROJ_ALUREON.AI

So, have you checked your site lately? Update the software and start securing the content.
