Wordpress launched 2.5.1 with important Security Fix

Posted on 28 April 2008 in Tech News by David Tan, Affiliate

Wordpress just launched a new version 2.5.1 which includes a security fix. Obviously, those who just upgraded to 2.5 should upgrade to avoid your site security being compromised. Wouldn't want to get hacked and injected with hundreds of bad neighbourhood links in blog pages.

For those of us who don't know, wordpress is free and is a great software for blogging, starting a website and managing it. With the use of plugins, you can easily add all types of functions into a website.

New Affiliates or newbies can read more about it at Wordpress.org's main site.

Also, for those who are not ready to buy domain name and hosting, you can visit wordpress.com which is like a blogger.com clone.
