During the 4 weeks to March 29th 2008, Google grew in the marketshare of US searches to 67.25%. This is higher than the 66.44% of February 2008. Yahoo has about 20.29% of market share and MSN takes 6.65%, both having dropped from Feb 2008. Its true that when we want to know what's on the web, we ask Google. Yahoo's Future - Bleak or Not?
Does Yahoo plan to save itself or milk Microsoft for more money before caving in to their demands? I mean, having yahoo and google is legally impossible since it will harm competition. More smoke and mirrors. $31 per share offer by Microsoft might look really good, especially if they tanked in Q1. Consider what happens if Microsoft drops the deal then?
